You've come a long way, Baby!

What other delightful creature could bring an entire family to its knees on the floor, coaxing him with bits of edible paper, just so we can watch him crawl!  It seems so silly, but the joy is overwhelming as he gets that little tush up and those knees going in spurts...and then after a hundred nose dives..... finally figures out that his hands have to move too!  He can scoot/dive/crawl from one end of the room to the other faster than I can say "chokables"!  We definitely have mobility here.  I'm going to have to remember how to corral one of these crawling creatures again.  It's been 3 years, after all.  I was rather enjoying being able to plop him down by his basket of toys and come back a half hour later and find him still playing contentedly.  Now the world is his playing field.  Time for the old "playpen" trick, I guess. This is one delightful baby.  I am drinking in every little milestone.  The months are passing so quickly.

It sometimes happens, even in the best of families, that a baby is born. This is not necessarily cause for alarm. The important thing is to keep your wits about you and borrow some money. ~Elinor Goulding Smith
