Chicago - Christmas Eve 2010

by sarahmfry, January 12, 2011
We started off at Navy Pier

Who knew a city bus could be so fun when you have the whole thing to yourselves on Christmas Eve!

And of course, The American Girl Place...We dream shopped and shared a brownie from the elegant treat shop.

 And it Snowed!

And Snowed...
The Palmer House Hotel....One of the most elegant hotels I've been in.
Definitely planning on staying there someday.

David's Grandpa Fry was a bellhop here years ago when he ran away and went to Chicago to work as a teenager.

There was plenty of Christmas Eve Sparkle and Magic!

And of course, Our favorite Chicago tradition....
Chicago-style pizza at Giordanos.  You have to taste it to believe it.

Did I mention kissing?

The kids love the subway!

We were disappointed that they had closed up the German Christmas Village before we arrived....
so we went across the street to the world's tallest church.

Then took our "private" bus back to Navy Pier
