Quiet Spring Beauty

by sarahmfry, April 14, 2010
The recent days have been a flurry of to-do lists and packing and feeling the pressure of time and - to be frank - not so much of looking and lingering and savoring.

I've been wishing I had a pill to take that would settle my insides....
I'll breathe a big sigh when the last lesson is taught and the last suitcase is packed and the last floor swept and we are on our merry to Cincinnati on Friday.

But for now - tonight - this soul needs some quiet spring beauty.

"In springtime, love is carried on the breeze. Watch out for flying passion or kisses whizzing by your head." ~Terri Guillemets

"Yesterday the twig was brown and bare;
To-day the glint of green is there;
Tomorrow will be leaflets spare;
I know no thing so wondrous fair,
No miracle so strangely rare.
I wonder what will next be there!"

~L.H. Bailey

 "I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works."
Psalm 9:1 (KJV)

"The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him."
Psalm 28:7 (KJV)
